Job Title: Electro Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join our team in the assembly, fabrication, and inspection of medical devices. Utilize your skills with small hand tools, calibrated instruments, and measurement equipment to ensure the highest quality standards. Maintain clean room integrity by adhering to strict procedures and wearing proper attire. Your work will contribute to life-saving medical devices, making a real impact on patients' lives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electro mechanical assembly, fabrication, and inspection of medical devices.
  • Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, and test fixtures.
  • Maintain clean room integrity by following proper attire and clean room environment practices and procedures.
  • Strictly adhere to manufacturing and cleaning procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records/documentation for quality, inventory, and work in progress.
  • Follow general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, and FDA regulations related to medical device manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with Warehousing on material movement and storage needs to support production and testing schedules.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of assembly experience, preferably in medical device assembly.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and using hand tools.
  • Experience with soldering, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly.
  • Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers.
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail in filling out paperwork.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the electronics industry or military service, particularly with defense contractors, is a plus.
  • Understanding of GMP and cleanroom protocols.

Work Environment

Work in a small manufacturing and warehouse environment with approximately 40 full-time employees. The facility includes a cleanroom where assemblers operate. The first shift operates from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional mandatory weekend work depending on business needs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
