The Eastern Adams Regional Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. The Eastern Adams Regional Police Department is located in Adams County and serves the New Oxford area consisting of Oxford Township and New Oxford Borough. With a population of over 8,000 citizens spanning 10 scale miles of mixed residential, farm land and industrial properties. The community is experiencing considerable growth and development, and the department itself is growing.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
1. United States Citizen
2. Minimum 21 Years of Age
3. High School Graduate or GED
4. MPOETC Act 120 Certified or will be at time of appointment
5. Be medically and physically capable of performing the duties of the position
6. Pass a psychological and physical examination
7. Possess a valid PA Operator’s License
8. Required to reside within 25 miles of Eastern Adams Regional jurisdiction within one year of service.
Salary and Benefits
1. Starting Salary of 73K with Top Rate Patrol Officer 81K after three years

NOTE: The department is entering into contract negotiations for a new collective bargaining agreement.
