Marketing and Events Coordinator Assistant
The Marketing & Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting training classes, advertising efforts, promotional initiatives, and company events. This role ensures smooth coordination of registrations, vendor advertising, printed materials, and promotional item distribution while maintaining strong organizational and communication standards.
Skills: Strong communication, organization, time management, creativity, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram), email, and analytics tools (e.g., mass email tools, Google Analytics). Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Express) is a plus.
Main tasks for this position include but are not limited to:
Social Media Management
o Creating, editing, and scheduling content (videos, images, captions) and maintaining a consistent brand voice.
Branch / End-cap Merchandising
o Assist branch managers with product layout and special product placement based on season
Training Class Coordination
o Manage class registrations and reservation fees
o Coordinate meals for attendees
o Oversee attendee check-in and ensure smooth class-day logistics
Promotional Materials & Branding
o Order promotional items and product brochures as needed
o Coordinate distribution of promotional items to branch locations
Advertising and Media Support
o Manage and update outgoing phone messages for platforms such as ProKeep and OnHold
o Ensure ad materials are updated and submitted on schedule
o Review newsletters, outgoing emails, and other marketing materials for continuity, grammatical, and spelling errors
