Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Network Wireless Engineer with strong Cisco and Aruba expertise to join a technology team on a remote basis. You will manage and optimize enterprise wireless networks across corporate and manufacturing environments while providing technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Deploy, manage, and tune wireless networks in corporate and manufacturing environments
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco 9800 WLC, Cisco 9120 and 9130 access points, Meraki, and Aruba platforms
• Plan and execute large scale wireless deployments across multiple locations
• Perform regular network assessments and audits to optimize performance and coverage
• Maintain and update enterprise network diagrams and documentation
• Design and implement network monitoring and alerting platforms including dashboards and reporting
• Collaborate with network engineers, IT operations, and information security teams
• Contribute to IP address space design, disaster recovery planning, and capacity planning
• Support platform upgrades, modernization initiatives, and process improvements
• Provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders and end users on wireless network issues
• Mentor team members and contribute to medium and long term network strategy

What you bring

• 10 or more years of progressive experience in network infrastructure development and support
• Minimum 7 years of experience deploying and managing wireless networks in enterprise environments
• Strong proficiency in Cisco wireless technologies including Cisco 9800 WLC and access points
• Hands-on experience with Meraki and Aruba wireless platforms
• Solid understanding of OSI model, packet flow, and network security protocols
• Proven ability to lead large scale wireless deployments across multiple locations
• Experience with network documentation, standards, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience

Nice to have

• Experience with disaster recovery planning and fault tolerant network design
• Familiarity with cloud networking solutions
• Background in manufacturing or large enterprise environments
