Maintenance Technician | Jenison, MI

Salary Range: $44,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
• Execute corrective maintenance tasks, including replacing worn or faulty components.
• Assist with the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document repairs performed.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for industrial equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
• Adherence to safety protocols, including LOTO and OSHA regulations.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting experience.
• Welding and fabrication skills (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• HVAC certification or experience with industrial HVAC systems.
