Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Master Planner to join a leading Company located in the Greenville, SC surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**

Responsibilities:

  • This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations. 
  • Candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work, and Basis of Estimate development. 
  • Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors that may impact delivery or cost. 
  • Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs. 
  • The candidate will have experience utilizing the Critical Path Methodology and will know how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis. 
  • The candidate will refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM). 
  • Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations, including engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production. 
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment. 
  • Possess the ability to prepare status reports, metrics, and make presentations as required. 
  • Must be a self-starter and have demonstrated Program Planning and Scheduling hands-on experience. 
  • Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.
  • Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • Experience with Critical Path Methodology.
  • Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool (primary).
  • Experience with Microsoft Project (secondary).
  • Experience with Milestones Professional.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and techniques.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), including proposal development schedules.
  • Cradle to grave project schedule creation experience required (created a new schedule from SOW to completion).
  • Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input.
  • Experience in schedule control processes, internal & external audits, and project management integration.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working independently across Technical Teams, developing a basic level understanding of the technical product.
  • Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements, and dependencies between functions.
  • Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management).
