Jovie Nannies + Sitters of Asheville is hiring
engaging, reliable babysitters to care for children of families
visiting Asheville for vacations, weddings, and special events. Many of our bookings come from
families staying in vacation homes, hotels, and destination weddings where we provide on-site childcare at venues. This role is perfect if you want
fun, flexible work and the ability to pick up shifts when you're available. This is a
PRN (as-needed) position , meaning
you choose when you're available and we match you with bookings. Perfect for
students, teachers, hospitality workers, and childcare professionals looking for rewarding, flexible work.
Typical Bookings Include
- Babysitting for families visiting Asheville on vacation
- On-site childcare at weddings and special events
- Date nights for parents enjoying Asheville’s restaurants and nightlife
- Care for visiting families staying in hotels, resorts, or vacation homes
Many shifts take place at
beautiful Asheville wedding venues and event spaces. Most bookings are
evenings and weekends , with some daytime care during peak tourism seasons.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Engaging children in creative, active, age-appropriate activities
- Supervising children during weddings, events, and vacation stays
- Leading games, crafts, and activities for children during on-site event childcare
- Helping with routines like meals, bedtime, and playtime
- Light tidying related to childcare
- Creating a safe, fun experience so parents can enjoy their time in Asheville
What You’ll Need
- Childcare/babysitting experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean background check
- Reliable transportation
- A professional, dependable, and positive attitude
