Upholstery Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 to $23.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:30pm )

• Assembling, padding, covering, and finishing upholstered textile products according specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and quality expectations.
• Measure, cut, and apply fabric, vinyl, leather, or other materials to textile products.
• Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and industrial sewing equipment as required (e.g., staple guns, sewing machines, cutters).
• Inspect finished products 
• Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality and efficiency goals.
• Follow all safety procedures, machine guarding requirements, and OSHA guidelines
• Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Report material defects, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervision promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production operations. 

Upholstery Technician Qualifications:

• Read and follow work orders, patterns, specifications, and production instructions.
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous upholstery, sewing, furniture manufacturing, or textile production experience required.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and production equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
