About You and the Role:
Pay: $18–$20/hr - Starting Pay
Primary Responsibilities:
Upholster fabric and leather furniture
Secure materials using staple guns, air ratchets, and drills
Match cover materials to appropriate furniture frames
Upholster all frame components according to specifications
Read and follow production instructions, including details such as leg color, welt, tack, springs, and other custom requirements
Correct defects such as crooked seams or staple inconsistencies
Perform visual quality inspections on completed work
Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Essential Job Functions:
Frequently lift furniture ranging from 10–75 lbs
Occasional bending, pushing, and pulling
Frequent overhead reaching while operating a 10 lb air gun
Continuous standing for 8–10 hour shifts
