Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 135,000 per year Requirements:

• Senior Network Engineer with expertise in LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN/VoIP for multi-site enterprise settings.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in network & communications engineering within a multi-site enterprise environment, including Cisco Layer 2/3 and Arista switches, and familiarity with Fortinet and mixed platforms (Mac/Windows/Linux).
• Proficient in routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, iBGP), switching strategies (VLANs, VXLAN, STP), VPNs, QoS, multicast & unicast, as well as wireless technologies and network automation/zero-touch provisioning.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP or equivalent are preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring other network engineers.

• Develop and deploy new network solutions while enhancing the functionality of existing networks.
• Install, set up, and provide support for network devices, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
• Acquire necessary network hardware and coordinate with subcontractors involved in network installations.
• Configure firewalls and optimize routing and switching to enhance network efficiency and security.
• Continuously monitor and troubleshoot network performance for improvement.
• Schedule and conduct upgrades, collaborating with network architects for network optimization.
• Investigate network faults and communicate the network status to key stakeholders.
• Establish and uphold policies and procedures for network resource management and appropriate usage training.
• Manage network assets, including tracking inventory, lifecycle management, and relevant documentation.
• Oversee and ensure the effectiveness of security measures, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems.
