We are sharing a specialised remote opportunity for experienced Private Detectives and Investigators to support a leading AI research lab working on next-generation machine learning systems.
This project focuses on applying real-world investigative expertise to help AI teams better understand investigative workflows, evidence analysis, and case evaluation processes. Professionals in this role will contribute their domain knowledge by creating realistic tasks and reviewing deliverables that reflect common investigative scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
Create structured deliverables based on common requests within the investigative and private detective domain
Contribute professional expertise to help diagnose and solve real-world investigative challenges
Review peer-developed deliverables to improve research quality and domain accuracy
Provide detailed written explanations reflecting real investigative workflows and case analysis processes
Ensure tasks reflect authentic investigative methods, information gathering, and analytical reasoning
Ideal Profile
Strong candidates may have:
4+ years of professional experience as a private investigator, detective, or investigative professional
Strong understanding of investigative techniques, case analysis, and evidence evaluation
Excellent written communication skills with strong grammar and clarity
Ability to translate real-world investigative workflows into structured tasks and scenarios
Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate investigative reasoning
Educational Background:
Background in Criminal Justice, Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Studies, or related fields preferred
Nice to Have
Experience conducting complex investigations or case research
Experience analysing information sources and evidence documentation
Experience explaining investigative procedures and case evaluation methods clearly
