All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Acute care hospital experience required, behavioral health experience does not apply. Required Skills: ICU, MS, SDU/PCU/IMC/Obs, Care coordination, Discharge Planning, Needs Assessment/ Order DME, Plan of Care, Acute Hospital, CMS: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, HIPAA guidelines.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatrics, Women’s Services, Utilize Milliman Guidelines.
Required Credentials: Facility only accepts Hep B vaccines and will not take titers or declination.
Special Requests: Can only submit to 1 location within the region (PAMC, Seward, Valdez, Saint Elias Specialty Hospital, and Kodiak). RTO Restrictions: Only 1 time off request per 13 week assignment of 5 days or less. No holiday RTO for Auto Offer. Return Staff Policy: Permanent staff must be separated from Providence for a minimum of 3 months to return as a traveler. Travelers can only work for a maximum of 1 calendar year in their assignment. Travelers are then required to take a minimum of a 6-month break before returning for another traveler assignment at the same facility.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift times may vary, but will be one of the following: 0700-1530, 0730-1600, 0800-1630, 0830-1700. Pay package can vary depending on which shift. Weekend REQ: Yes - every other weekend or 4 weekend days in a 4 week schedule. Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 8-hour shift per 2 weeks. Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals near by. Will float within case manager services to cover where gap is.
