POSITION OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position provides assistance with the coordination of property movement and inventory, provides assistance with record retention schedules and record storage activities, assists with building maintenance issues, and various other duties in the General Services section. This position also serves as the backup for building access badges, the mailroom, and the security desk.  

 

PAY:

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, ranging from $35,000.04 to $37,000.08, annually.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintenance in the DOEA property system and FLAIR to update property records.  
  • Assists the Property Administrator with property records, transfers, tagging of new property, and surplus property as requested.  
  • Receives and distributes bulk supply items such as copier paper and toner cartridges and maintains an inventory of selected items as required.  
  • Compiles reports, research missing items, prepares files, and conducts property inventory annually.  
  • Assists Property Administrator with Surplus Property Requests and maintains files for disposal of accountable items.  
  • Initiate property transfers in the DOEA property system and assist property delegates with requests for transfers as the Property Administrator.  
  • Assists record custodian with retention and storage of agency records in compliance with established retention schedules.  
  • Respond to building maintenance requests and submit work orders in the DMS TRIRIGA system.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.   

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge and ability of basic computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint. 
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.  
  • Ability to maintain records and files.  
  • Ability to move, transport and/or deliver property up to 50lbs.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.  

 

REQUIREMENT:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
