Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their accounting career (1–2 years of experience) who is eager to grow in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role will support full-cycle property accounting, from accounts payable through monthly financial reporting.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting for assigned property portfolio
• Process accounts payable , including invoice coding, approvals, and payments
• Prepare monthly financial reports , including accruals, variance analysis, and supporting schedules
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain and reconcile tenant ledgers
• Review and perform bank reconciliations
• Assist with CAM reconciliations, reforecasting, and audit support
• Serve as a point of contact for owners and investors , providing financial updates and support

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounting experience (property accounting a plus)
• Experience with AP, reconciliations, and month-end close preferred
• Familiarity with Yardi, AppFolio, or Buildium is a plus
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal structure
• Proactive, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
• No degree required
