Role Overview We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire production floor during the evening shift, ensuring that custom fabrication projects are completed on time, within budget, and to exact technical specifications. Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
- Communication: strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between shifts.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot machinery issues and resolve workflow bottlenecks on the fly.

Responsibilities
Operations & Scheduling
- Workflow Management: Overseeing the daily production schedule to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Resource Planning: Coordinating labor and raw materials to maximize machine uptime and minimize waste.
- Technical Oversight: Monitoring specialized machinery (such as CNC cutters or fabricators) to ensure proper calibration and performance.
Team Leadership
- Supervision: Leading a team of machine operators and technicians through clear communication and task delegation.
- Training: Ensuring staff are cross-trained on equipment and understand the specific nuances of the materials being processed.
- Performance: Tracking productivity levels and addressing any bottlenecks or personnel issues on the floor.
Quality & Safety
- Quality Assurance: Reviewing blueprints and technical drawings to ensure finished parts meet exact tolerances and specifications.
- Compliance: Enforcing strict safety protocols and OSHA standards to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying ways to refine manufacturing processes to reduce defects and "scrap" material.
