Set Schedule: Tuesday 1:10-7:10 Thursday 10:10-7:10 Friday: 12:00-6:00 Saturday: 10:10-7:10 Sunday 10-4pm Ideal Candidate : Would be responsible, organized, willing to learn and wants to work. This job is not hard, and should not be stressful. 99% of customers are great and the others can be grumpy but not terrible so you must have the social skills to be able to talk to people. We are a laid back work place, no drama, we like to joke and have fun when no customers are in the store. If you cannot handle the occasional swear word or crude joke this place is not for you. If you are sensitive this is not the place for you I'm hard but fair to work for. If you do your job and have a good attitude we'll get along great, if you don't you'll be gone before the probation period ends. : This is a multi-role position basically 32 hours as a store clerk doing the duties below, and then 8 hours after the store closes as a data clerk inputting invoices, updating prices, printing tags, and clerical work. No experience necessary for the store clerk position but I would prefer someone that has done data entry/ clerical work in the past. If you cannot commit to the schedule above I wish you the best in your job search. Stocking : unloading pallets of dog and cat food up to 50lbs. Restocking the shelves from the pallets. This includes organizing the shelves, rotating stock, stocking cans. Stocking cans is a tedious job, it's not hard work but its monotonous and you will have to restock and face the cans multiple times throughout the day. If you can't deal with that, this job is not for you. You must be able to lift 50lbs throughout the day during this job. Customer service : You will go through a digital training program to learn the basics about the products, and I will teach you the more complex info so you will become an expert on the products. This also means you are here to talk to the customer, help them with what they need. You will also be carrying items out to the customers cars. This job requires you to be able to talk to people and connect with them to bring a rewarding experience to the store. This is an absolute requirement so you cannot be shy or reserved and afraid to talk to customers, and coworkers. Janitorial : This job also includes sweeping, both dry and wet mopping, cleaning windows, cleaning up occasional pet droppings from puppies or misbehaved animals. Dusting the shelves, maintaining the bathroom, and taking out the trash. Register work : Once you have proven yourself trustworthy and capable you will learn the cash register, and other manager duties Educational seminars: are held 1-2 times a month these are required and are paid. These seminars will have the various brand trainers teaching you more about their food or product. It's not hard work but you do have to take notes and participate in them. Starting pay: is $15.50 Pay rate increase $1 for every 45 days until 90 day probation is over. You have to be in good standing to receive your probation pay increase IE showing up, good attitude, proactive in the work place and professional. Once you are off probation your rate will be $17.50. Complete the 3 online training courses and you get a $1 increase for each course you complete. To get each raise you have to be an asset to the company. You must continue showing up on time, ready to work, be able to work by yourself and learning about the various brands and following the company goals for the day, week, etc. Once you have completed all training and passed probation, you will receive more specialized training and more responsibilities up will be able to earn up to $23 an hour for a store clerk. There is room to grow within the company and I'm looking for people that will be here for a long time. Work ethic: I'm looking to hire good people that want to grow with the company, my goal is to have 7 more stores by 2030 for a total of 10. I will need good managers and district managers I don't care about a college degree for this positions just your work ethic and reliability I'm as loyal to you as you show you are to me. If you are honest with me I will work with you and help you as much as I can so you can succeed in this job and eventually provide a better life for yourself and family. Also don't waste my time if you have a year+ gap in your work history there's been plenty of jobs available throughout covid and I don't need someone with that kind of work ethic. Personal skills: If you've read all this way through and are hesitant about the people skills be up front with me if you would rather stock shelves, organize, set end caps, and clean we can find that position for you also. If you can't work a full 40+ hours let me know maybe we can come up with a set schedule for you but you have to be upfront with me and If I see potential in you I will help you as much as I can and be as loyal to you as you are to me
