Associate Sales Representative – Orthopedics
Location: Raleigh, NC
Compensation: Starting salary $60,000 (based on experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Associate Sales Representative to join our Orthopedics team in Raleigh, NC. You will work closely with a Senior Sales Representative to support surgeon relationships, gain deep product knowledge, and develop the skills required to manage a territory independently over time.
Responsibilities
Support sales efforts within an established orthopedic territory
Assist in the operating room by providing product support and ensuring proper use of orthopedic implants and instruments
Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinical staff, and hospital stakeholders
Prepare for and attend surgeries, case coverage, and in-services
Manage inventory, loaner kits, and product logistics
Learn and communicate the clinical and economic value of orthopedic solutions
Participate in ongoing sales training, product education, and professional development
Maintain compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
0–2 years of sales, healthcare, or related experience preferred
Strong interest in medical device sales and orthopedics
High level of professionalism, accountability, and work ethic
Ability to learn technical and clinical information quickly
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, and variable hours as required by surgical schedules
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the territory
