A well-established law firm in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Specialist to manage the full billing and collections cycle. This hybrid role supports multiple office locations and works closely with attorneys and internal client services teams to ensure timely, accurate invoicing and proactive receivables follow-up.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage assigned billing from prebill through final invoice submission (email, mail, and e-billing platforms)
Edit, post, and distribute invoices using Aderant/Prebill systems
Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable
Apply trust funds and unapplied cash to invoices
Assist with complex billing matters and special billing arrangements
Prepare billing reports and spreadsheets as requested
Qualifications:
4+ years legal billing experience required
Strong ownership mindset with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Organized, analytical, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
Experience with Aderant, Bill Blast, Prebill Viewer, SharePoint, and e-billing vendor sites is a plus
Ability to work overtime as needed; occasional travel may be required
