The Role

The day porter is responsible for cleaning and maintaining Veeva’s Headquarters. This person must be detail-oriented, have strong customer service values. This role will work closely with the Facilities Manage and Workplace Services Team on all day-today operations.

What You’ll Do

• Perform thorough cleaning of office areas, including restrooms, desk, conference rooms, fitness room, Micro Kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance.
• Handle trash removal, recycling collection, and restocking supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Conduct detailed custodial tasks such as window cleaning, surface disinfecting and furniture polishing to uphold hygiene standards.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard -free environment.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety policies.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proven experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting to 50lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail with commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Prior experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is a plus.

Compensation

• Base pay: starting at $22.00 hourly
• The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
