HOUSE CLEANER

Position Type: Part-Time / Full-Time / As-Needed.

Location: DMV.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented House Cleaner to perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of a private residence. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, respects the privacy of the household, and consistently delivers high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop all floors and staircases.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, baseboards, and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, tubs, and showers.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, including countertops, appliances, stovetop, and sink.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Change and launder bed linens as directed.
• Clean interior windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Organize and tidy rooms according to household standards.
• Restock supplies (paper products, soap, etc.) as needed.
• Report any damage, maintenance concerns, or supply needs promptly.
• Follow any specific cleaning protocols or product preferences of the household.

Requirements:

• Prior housekeeping or residential cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Trustworthy, professional, and respectful of household privacy.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation.
• References required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a private estate or luxury residence.
• Familiarity with specialty surfaces (hardwood, marble, stainless steel).
• Knowledge of eco-friendly or chemical-sensitive cleaning products.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience $13-$20 / hour.
