Job Description

Join the Graduate School & Interdisciplinary Studies team and play a key role in supporting graduate students from their initial inquiry to graduation at UAF! We are seeking a motivated student worker to assist with our dynamic office operations. In this role, you will work closely with our dedicated team to navigate students through UAF’s graduate policies, provide front-line customer service, and assist with processing forms.

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the graduate student experience, the ability to collaborate in a diverse environment, and exceptional organizational and communication skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality and efficiently manage multiple tasks with patience and empathy is essential. Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be enrolled as a UAF student taking a minimum of 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or a newly enrolled student.

Position Details:

This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) student position. Hourly rate starts at $16.52 , with the potential for a higher rate commensurate with experience.
