General Laborer / Forklift Operator

💲 Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
🕒 Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (up to 5:30 PM as needed)
📍 Work Location: In Person

Position Overview

We are currently hiring dependable and experienced General Laborers and Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. This role supports daily distribution operations, including material handling, equipment operation, and shipping and receiving. Candidates with warehouse, logistics, or construction experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other equipment
• Accurately perform order picking and fulfillment using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Operate cranes and heavy machinery in compliance with OSHA safety standards
• Assist with shipping and receiving, ensuring proper documentation and product handling
• Perform heavy lifting, stacking, and organization of inventory
• Support inventory control processes including cycle counts and quality checks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist warehouse supervisors with daily operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction required
• Forklift operating experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse and heavy equipment operations
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse management systems are highly desirable
• Experience with RF scanners, order picking (including cherry picker), and material handling equipment
• Ability to lift heavy materials consistently and work on your feet for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Prior warehouse leadership experience is a plus
