Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors using specialized equipment and techniques .

Key Responsibilities:

• Floor Maintenance:

  • Cleaning and maintaining various floor types, including hard surfaces (stripping, waxing, buffing) and carpets (vacuuming, shampooing, extraction).  

     

   

• Operating and maintaining floor cleaning equipment like buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums.  

   

•  

• Ensuring floors are free from dirt, stains, and other debris.  

   

Other Cleaning Tasks:

Assisting with other cleaning tasks as needed, such as dusting, mopping, and restroom cleaning.  

Cleaning walls and other surfaces.  

Safety and Equipment:

Following safety procedures and handling equipment, tools, and chemicals responsibly.  

Performing preventative maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use.  

Securing the work area and posting proper safety notices.  

Specific Tasks:

In some roles, specializing in the restoration of natural stone flooring, removing stains, and using color matching techniques to fill holes.  

May be required to move furniture for floor access or perform other light cleaning tasks.  

Skills:

Knowledge and skills in the use of power equipment, conventional and high-speed floor machines, carpet cleaning equipment, wet, dry and power vacuum equipment and push sweeper.  

Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.  

Ability to work as a team or independently.
