Financial Advisor Transition Consultant

As a Financial Advisor Transition Consultant, you will partner with our recruiting teams and field leadership to provide a delightful and seamless experience to Advisors, their business, and clients’ onboarding to RBC Wealth Management.


This role will require regular travel 75% of the time. We are open to candidates in any of our major metropolitan locations.

What will you do?

  • Partner with branch, complex and divisional management teams to coordinate and execute a best-in-class onboarding experience
  • Assist field leadership throughout the new recruit hiring process— includes new hire requirements and book of business vetting 
  • Assist in the onboarding of new FAs, support staff and clients
  • Assist with integration of the new AOS platform into the onboarding process to accelerate account opening and the transition of client assets to RBC USWM
  • Enhance the client experience by including other US Wealth Management key initiatives into the onboarding process
  • Develop, update and maintain resources used internally within the team and with the field—such as procedures, templates, checklists and other resources  

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree or job-related experience
  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience at a wealth management firm
  • Proven dedication to and focus to client service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong ability to ask critical questions, anticipate problems/future needs, and take ownership

Nice-to-have

  • Demonstrated experience supporting financial advisors and client associates at a wealth management firm
  • Demonstrated experience working with different functional groups at a wealth management firm
  • Series 7 and 66 (or ability to attain)

The expected salary range for this particular position is $70,000-$120,000, (Chicago), $55,000-$95,000, (Denver, Minneapolis),  depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
