As a Elite Armed Security Officer - Route Patrol Driver in Austin TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting details and communicating with site contacts and local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store parking areas loading zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas for policy compliance unusual activity and/or potential loss prevention concerns while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with security-related checks of doors gates alarms and/or other access points and report maintenance issues hazards or policy violations according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement corrections and/or military experience or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
