DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

Albany, NY

Fusco Personnel is searching for an experienced Director of Finance to lead financial operations, strategic planning, and accounting oversight across multiple business units. This senior leadership role reports directly to the CEO and serves as the organization’s top financial leader.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide executive-level oversight of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across multiple entities
• Lead and mentor a finance and accounting team while fostering collaboration and operational efficiency across departments
• Partner closely with executive leadership and department heads on financial planning, budget development, and strategic initiatives
• Oversee reimbursement, billing, and financial operations within regulated healthcare or senior care environments
• Manage relationships with banking partners, external auditors, and outside accounting firms
• Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and regulatory financial reporting requirements
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and operational updates to executive leadership and governing boards
• Attend board and committee meetings and provide clear financial guidance to support organizational decision-making

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred
• Significant leadership experience overseeing finance and accounting operations within a complex organization
• Healthcare, senior living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or related industry experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of reimbursement models, billing operations, and regulatory financial reporting preferred
• Proven experience managing teams, developing staff, and partnering cross-functionally with operational leadership
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning capabilities
• Collaborative leadership style & ability to build relationships to drive organizational alignment

SALARY:  $170-220k +/-
