Position Summary

A growing, multi-location organization is seeking a hands-on Corporate Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and strengthen financial reporting processes. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will oversee the monthly close, consolidations, and financial statement preparation while driving process improvements and enhancing reporting visibility across the organization.

This position is highly operational and will require a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with a lean accounting team. The Controller will play a key role in improving close timelines, standardizing procedures, and ensuring accurate consolidated financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and actively participate in month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements across multiple locations
• Improve close timelines, documentation, and reporting accuracy
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Ensure balance sheet integrity through detailed reconciliations and review
• Enhance internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with operational leaders to improve financial visibility and reporting clarity
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Coordinate with external auditors and other financial partners as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and scalability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Prior experience in a Controller or Assistant Controller capacity preferred
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement presentation
• Proven ability to improve close processes and reporting workflows
