Job Description

A Piqua manufacturer is looking for an OTR 26′ Box Truck Driver for deliveries @ 28.50 per hour. First shift hours with ability to load and unload the truck. Multiple Deliveries per load will be made in a company box truck, no CDL required.

An ODOT physical is Required.

Duties to include:

• OTR Box Truck Delivery Driver including loading and unloading.
• Load and unload company box truck.
• Heavy Lifting of boxed goods.
• Reconcile freight manifest with company purchase orders.
• Staging deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse dock.
• Sweep and dispose of trash daily.
• Organize and maintain stock register.
• Deliver, unload, and stage products for customers.
• Supportive and Courteous behavior required on Deliveries.
• Daily use of Personal Protective Equipment. Lifting harness, hand trucks, etc.

Requirements:

• Class B CDL Preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED
• A Valid Driver’s License with NO Points
• One or two overnight stays per week, on average… Chicago, D.C, St. Louis, etc.
• Always home on weekends.
• A Home Phone or Cell
• A Clean Background with NOFelony Conviction
• ODOT Physical
• Able to Pass an Employment Drug Screen (NO THC)
• A Solid, Continuous Work History
• Previous Delivery Driver Experience Preferred
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs., Several Times Per Day
• Able to Work Independently without Supervision
