Job Description

Body Shop Assistant Manager/ Estimator Capitol City Ford, a Ford dealer in Indianapolis since 1984, is looking for a body shop assistant manager. We are looking for someone who has body shop experience and aspires to become our future body shop manager.

• Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries they may have
• Perform vehicle walk arounds and document any concerns
• Consult with insurance companies on applicable repairs
• Keep the customer and the insurance company informed on completion times, expenses, and possible changes
• Remain involved with delivery of vehicles to customers upon completion to assure all customer concerns can be addressed
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
• Spend quality time building a relationship with customers and insurance companies

• Hard working with an energetic personality
• Prior experience working with customers and providing an exceptional experience
• Prior collision estimating experience is a huge plus
• Have or be able to acquire the required certifications
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
