Armed Security Officer - Gatehouse
Pay Rate: $24.72 per hour
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Shift Availability: We are currently hiring for multiple shifts. Final shift assignments will be determined based on operational needs. Candidates must have open day availability across 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts.

Position Overview

Cambridge Security Services is seeking professional Armed Security Officers for upscale country clubs, residential gatehouses, and patrol assignments. Officers will maintain a safe and secure environment through visible deterrence, access control, and proactive patrol.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior & exterior)
• Control access and verify guest/vendor credentials
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbances
• Complete detailed daily activity and incident reports
• Provide high-level customer service to residents, members, and guests
• Enforce property rules and post orders

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Florida Class D & G Security Licenses (Required)
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of armed security experience (preferred)
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test
• Reliable transportation
