Atlas Aircraft Center, Inc., the sister company of PlaneSense, Inc., is seeking an Aircraft Parts & Inventory Attendant for their dynamic aircraft Parts Department.

The Aircraft Parts & Inventory Attendant assists with day-to-day functions of the Parts Department. They are directly involved with all shipping, receiving and inventory functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform customer service and support functions associated with the Parts Window
  • Identify, control, segregate and maintain all stock in a serviceable condition
  • Ensure the preservation of all articles carried in inventory
  • Verify and receive all incoming items in accordance with the Repair Station and Parts Room procedures
  • Distribute supplies and material throughout the facility in support of operations
  • Maintain inventory control on all company owned equipment within the Tool Crib
  • Maintain all records within the Parts Room
  • Assist in Facility and Hangar Operations, including aircraft movement, cleaning and other tasks
  • Process shipping requests by multiple departments in compliance with Hazardous Materials regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Compensation:

  • Starting at $20-$26/hour based on experience

Qualifications:

Education/Experience

  • 1 year of shipping and receiving experience preferred

Computer Skills

  • Basic Microsoft Excel experience (data-entry and spreadsheet navigation)
  • Experience operating a computer inventory management system preferred

Other Skills and Abilities

  • Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license
  • Be able to obtain and maintain an airport SIDA badge
  • Be able to pass a 10 year criminal background check
  • Hazmat training is a plus
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Climb stairs/ladders throughout the shift
  • Willingness to become certified to drive a forklift
  • We will consider candidates with previous retail experience

Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Unloading shipments from delivery trucks
  • Processing of incoming receipts
  • Stocking and storing parts and other items
  • The work environment involves an indoor parts room with frequent trips to the aircraft hangar and outdoors for shipping and receiving

Available work shifts:

  • Willing and able to work any shift assigned at the time of hire, which may include day or evening shifts. Schedules may also include weekends and holidays based on operational needs.

As an FAA certified Part 145 repair station, we specialize in Pilatus PC-12 turboprop aircraft and Pilatus PC-24 twin engine jet aircraft support, including turbine aircraft repairs, annual inspections, phase inspections, hourly inspections, modifications, and Service Bulletin compliance, as well as Avionics repairs and sales.

Atlas Aircraft Center is part of the PlaneSense, Inc. headquarters in Portsmouth, NH. Our state-of-the-art, 40,000 square foot hangar is equipped with slab heating, high-tech lighting, and Megadoors. These special fabric doors provide superior insulation capabilities to protect staff from inclement weather while also shielding customers’ aircraft from the elements. The very high ceilings and door openings accommodate all types of aircraft. An additional 44,000 square feet is dedicated to shop space and corporate offices.

Our Nevada maintenance facility is located in Boulder City, NV and features 36,000 square feet of air-conditioned hangar space. This Atlas Aircraft Center facility provides valuable support for the PlaneSense® fleet, mainly serving fractional share clients in the Western part of the U.S.
