Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking candidates for an AH-64E V6 Apache Subject Matter Expert to support the SRD/Assault and Attack division. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Provide operational insight to engineering, airworthiness, and systems integration activities.
Support evaluation of new capabilities, modifications, and software updates for the AH‑64E.
Participate in technical reviews, safety assessments, and configuration discussions.
Provide -10 reviews.
Translate pilot‑level operational understanding into actionable engineering and sustainment inputs.
Support coordination across SRD, PM Apache, and other Army Aviation stakeholders.
Conduct Airworthiness Release (AWR) reviews, providing operational and technical input to ensure configuration changes meet airworthiness requirements.
Required Experience:
BS+16 years of experience, or HS+20 years of experience.
AH-64E V6 Pilot experience (within the last 10 years).
Experience as an MTP, IP, or SP.
Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with AH-64E V6.5 SW function.
Experience as a Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP).
